Who are we?

Grama started in a family kitchen , the kind that’s always a little loud, a little messy, and full of people waiting to be fed.

We were making food for the people around us. Children running in and out, adults stealing bites, recipes that had been passed down but never written down. Somewhere in all of that, a simple question kept coming up:
Why did eating well start feeling so complicated?

We realised there was a growing gap between the food we trusted growing up and the food we were expected to rely on now. Labels were longer, ingredients harder to recognise, and nourishment had turned into a checklist instead of a feeling.

So we went back to basics.

At Grama foods, we work with ingredients that have always been part of Indian kitchens - millets, lentils, peanuts, and jaggery. We keep the combinations thoughtful, the process careful, and the food honest. Nothing clever for the sake of it. Nothing added just to sound impressive.

The result is food that fits into real lives. Nutritious without being overwhelming.
Comforting without being indulgent. Food you can eat regularly, and feel good about sharing.

We believe good nourishment should be:

Rooted in tradition - guided by age-old recipes and everyday wisdom.
Simple and transparent - ingredients you recognise and trust.
Designed for today - easy to serve, easy to enjoy, easy to rely on.

Grama is food made with care and intention.
For growing bodies. For busy households. For anyone trying to eat a little more mindfully, without turning food into a project.

If you’re looking for food that feels natural again, you’re in the right place.
